This course is designed and conducted with the support of the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) and its Nordic hub NORDIS (https://nordishub.eu/) and DECA, a research consortium of the Strategic Research Council of Finland (https://www.decatutkimus.fi/home). Drawing from collaborations of scholars and key professional stakeholders working in disinformation and digital information literacy, the course aims to provide a holistic picture of societal, institutional, and civic/individual challenges and policy, as well as professional and civic remedies to disinformation.

The course is suitable for a bachelor’s degree studies or equivalent.
